Themed castle hire — what to know

Which theme should I pick?

Most of the medium themed castles are interchangeable spec-wise — same size, same capacity, same price. The decision is what's on the kid's wall. Quick guide based on what we book most:

• Frozen — 3 to 8-year-olds, mixed-gender parties. Our most-booked theme by a margin.
• Princess — 3 to 7-year-olds, traditional pink-and-purple theme. Combo version (Princess 4-in-1) adds a slide for older kids.
• Unicorn — 4 to 8-year-olds, slightly more on-trend than Princess for the mid-2020s parties.
• Batman — 4 to 10-year-olds, leans older and works well for boys' birthdays.
• Minions — 3 to 9-year-olds, gender-neutral, good for sibling parties where you've got mixed ages.
• Dinosaur Combo — 4 to 10-year-olds. The combo is a 5 × 6m bouncer with a built-in slide, so it's a step up from the medium themed castles. Best for parties of 20+ or older kids who want more than just a bounce.

What about Bluey, Paw Patrol, Spiderman?

We get asked weekly. Honest answer: licensed character castles (Bluey, Paw Patrol, the Marvel and DC characters beyond Batman) are made by a handful of suppliers and the resale market is restricted. We may add Bluey to the fleet later in 2026 — for now, our closest matches are Minions for the playful animation feel, Frozen for Disney IP, Princess for fairytale themes, and Unicorn for the magical-pastel look.

How much does themed castle hire cost in Brisbane?

• Medium themed castle — $225 for a 4-hour hire, $250 for 7 hours, $295 overnight, $350 for the weekend
• Themed combo castle — $295 for 4 hours, $350 for 7 hours, $395 overnight, $450 for the weekend
• Delivery — from $95 in inner Brisbane, $145 in outer suburbs and Logan/Ipswich, $245 to Gold Coast

Themed castle specs

• Castle footprint — 4 × 4m (medium), 5 × 6m (combo)
• Setup area needed — 5 × 5m clear flat space (medium), 6 × 7m (combo). Add 1m clearance overhead and 0.5m on each side.
• Capacity — 8 children at a time on the medium, same on the combo (kids rotate through faster on the slide so throughput is higher)
• Ages — 3 to 12 years recommended
• Power — 10A power point within 25m, or we can supply a generator at extra charge
• Setup time — about 30 minutes per castle including anchoring, blower setup and safety briefing

Themed castle hire for school fetes

School fetes book themed castles in groups of three so multiple year levels can have a queue running at once. The most popular fete combo is one Frozen, one Minions and one combo castle — covers prep through Year 6.
