The Best Jumping Castles for Hire in Brisbane (2026)
Our honest picks for the best themed jumping castles to hire in Brisbane — by age group, crowd size and occasion. From toddler playpens to giant combo castles.
There are a lot of jumping castles available to hire in Brisbane. Some are tired, faded and 10 years old. Some are pristine, themed properly, and clearly built to be a hit with the under-12s.
Here are our honest picks for the best jumping castles available in 2026 — grouped by age, crowd size and occasion so you can find the right fit faster.
For toddlers and preschoolers (ages 2–5)
Mickey Mouse Inflatable Playpen
Our most-booked toddler hire. It’s contained — no jumping out — with a soft floor and low walls that anxious parents appreciate. The Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse graphics are iconic and recognisable to even the youngest guests. Holds 8 toddlers comfortably.
Best for: Birthday parties for 2–5 year olds, childcare events, playgroup days.
Toy Story Inflatable Playpen
Same design as the Mickey Mouse playpen — contained, soft-floored, safe for the littlest ones — with Buzz Lightyear, Woody and the Toy Story gang. A great alternative if your birthday kid is obsessed with the movie.
Best for: Toy Story-themed parties, toddler playdates, mixed-age family events where you want the little ones in their own safe zone.
What to look for with toddler hires: Always separate the 2–5 age group from older kids. Even a 7-year-old jumping normally can accidentally hurt a 3-year-old. Playpens solve this by design — they’re too small for big kids to want to use them.
For primary school kids (ages 5–12)
This is the sweet spot for jumping castle hire. The 5–12 age group loves a themed castle, doesn’t need the containment of a playpen, and has the coordination to use the castle safely.
Frozen Jumping Castle
The most-booked castle in our whole range — and it’s not close. The Elsa, Anna and Olaf graphics are sharp and the kids actually stop to pose for photos in front of it. Especially popular for February and March birthdays before winter sets in.
Suits ages 3–12, fits up to 8 children at a time.
Best for: Any birthday party with girls aged 4–9. Disney princess fans. Frozen-themed parties.
Batman Jumping Castle
For the kid who doesn’t want a princess castle. Batman, Robin, The Joker and the full Gotham City crew printed across the front. Clean, bold graphics in black and yellow. The boys’ equivalent to the Frozen Castle.
Suits ages 3–12, fits up to 8 children.
Best for: Superhero birthdays, Batman fans, mixed-gender parties where you want something neutral but exciting.
Princess Jumping Castle
Pink, sparkly, and exactly what the under-10 princess crowd wants. Generic enough to work for any princess theme, and popular enough to be our second-most booked castle after Frozen.
Best for: Princess-themed parties, 4th and 5th birthdays, girls’ birthday parties (ages 4–9).
Unicorn Jumping Castle
Unicorns, rainbows, pastel colours — this one practically books itself for the 5–8 crowd. The graphics are recent and the colours are vibrant.
Best for: Unicorn-themed parties, girls aged 5–8.
Celebrations Jumping Castle
Not themed to any character — instead a generic “celebrations” design in bright, cheerful colours. Great if you don’t want to commit to a specific theme or if the party has older kids who might find character theming a bit young.
Best for: Mixed-age parties, 10th–12th birthdays, gender-neutral events.
For bigger crowds and mixed ages
When you’ve got 15+ kids coming, a standard medium castle starts to feel small. This is where combo castles earn their spot.
Princess 4-in-1 Combo Jumping Castle & Slide
The standout combo castle in the range. A bounce area, a climbing wall, obstacles, and a slide built into one giant princess-themed unit. Holds up to 30 kids. The “4-in-1” in the name refers to the four activity zones — kids cycle through them so the queue moves fast.
At approximately 7m x 5m x 5m, it needs a decent-sized backyard or park space, but when you have the room it’s the best single hire you can do for a large birthday party.
Best for: Big birthday parties (15+ kids), ages 4–12, school fetes.
Pirate Ship Combo Castle
A giant pirate ship inflatable with a slide, climbing net and bounce area. The kids lose their minds for this one. Great theming, big size, suits mixed ages up to about 12.
Best for: Adventure-themed parties, mixed gender groups, pirate themes (obviously).
Dinosaur Combo Castle
A T-Rex looming over the entrance, bold green and orange colours, obstacle inside. Perfect for the Jurassic Park generation.
Best for: Dinosaur-themed parties, 5–10 year olds, school fetes.
For school fetes and community events
School fetes and community events need castles that can handle high throughput — lots of different kids cycling through across a 4–6 hour day.
Best options for school fetes:
- Any combo castle (they hold more kids and have built-in entertainment variety)
- The 15m or 25m obstacle course (separate queues for different ages, very high throughput)
- The Unicorn or Princess 4-in-1 for younger primary classes
For school fetes where you need all-day supervision, Brizzy offers an optional supervisor add-on ($80/hr). Most school P&Cs opt for this for peace of mind.
For teenagers and adults
The standard kids’ jumping castles max out at ages 12–14. For older guests, look at the adult inflatables.
Disco Dome
A fully enclosed inflatable dome with LED disco lighting built into the walls and ceiling. Not a bouncy castle as such — more of a dance floor that bounces. Looks incredible at night.
Best for: 18th and 21st birthday parties, end-of-year parties, corporate events.
Sumo Suits
Not a castle but consistently one of the most-requested adult hire items we have. Two participants, two padded sumo suits, padded mat. Spectators lose it every time. Available as a standalone hire or as part of a multi-item event package.
Best for: Corporate team building, staff parties, 18th–21st birthdays, anything where you want guests laughing.
